ABSTRACT
This abstract examines the crucial role of youth in the democratization process in Nigeria, with a focus on their contribution to sustainable governance. Nigeria, as Africa's most populous nation and a vibrant democratic country, relies heavily on its youthful population to shape and drive political change. This study investigates the evolving dynamics between Nigerian youth and democratization, exploring the factors that influence their engagement, challenges they face, and the potential transformative impact they can have on the nation's democratic landscape.
The abstract highlights the significance of youth participation in democratic processes, emphasizing their potential to bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a deep desire for change. The study identifies key drivers of youth engagement, including socio-economic factors, access to education, technological advancements, and increasing awareness of democratic rights and responsibilities.
