SUMMARY
This project work has been able to identify the theological strongholds against women from attaining a leadership role within the church as regards church ministry, causing a growing conflict with personal identity. These sentiments are still reverberating in the pews and hallways of modern-day churches where women are prevented from pursuing religious career aspirations. Chapter One has the introductory part of this work which entails the background of the study as well as the statement of problem among others. Chapter Two deals with the literature review of the work. Chapter Three has to do with the prospects of women in ministry which include women as better councilors, women are more affectionate, women as spiritually sensitive, women as multi-taskers as well as women defiling the odds Chapter Four has to do with the challenges of women in ministry which include cultural, financial and marital challenges. While chapter Five summarizes, conclude and recommends possible solution.
