ABSTRACT
The study concludes that the effect of women empowerment on family stability can never be over emphasized and if well channeled will have a ripple effect not only to the community but to the society and the nation at large. There is need to create a balance as society strive for development and advancement, men should allow their wives to get extra advantage and it will reduce the stress or burden on the man and also accelerate the economic status of the family in the community to which they live.
