ABSTRACT
The prospect of tertiary education in the near future rely on the educational technologies. Research works in the field of electronic learning are represented by a broad spectrum of applications, ranged from virtual classrooms to remote courses or distance learning. The convergence of information and communication technology in education has spurs the way teaching and learning are carry out. The issue of technology into education is traced as old as the invention of paper and pen. This project focus on the Development of a web based e-Learning system. It's primary objective is to develop a fast, reliable, effective and efficient web based e-Learning website where students can get access to books and materials and also to be able to communicate with their lecturers. The system was designed using HTML and CSS and JavaScript as the Markup and Styling language and PHP as the database.
