ABSTRACT
This study shows the ways in which social media feeds addiction. The idea was to demonstrate how many individuals are dependent or addicted to their smartphones, using them as a means of social interaction or as a means of escape from issues or reality. Adolescent wellbeing may suffer as a result of excessive use, which can encourage addictive tendencies toward digital platforms. Despite their claims that it doesn't interfere with their ability to concentrate, they are frequently dependent on the news, videos, and friend conversations they discover on social media. This research also examines "phubbing," the practice of using a smartphone to ignore others around oneself. It was discovered that this behavior can result from an addiction to social media.
