ABSTRACT
The thrust of this research is carried to deploy the principles of aesthetics in a theatrical production. This research will accompany this through an evaluation of Ahmed Yerima's play in the University of Benin Theatre as a case study. To achieve this, the project shall be delimitated into four chapters. The first chapter deals with the general introduction of the topic which shall embrace issues such as the background of study,, objective , significance of study and scope of study. Chapter two deals the literature review. Chapter three deals with the case study of play Iyase, its summary, banner produced and tickets sales. Chapter deals on the poor publicity and advertising techniques that may affect theatrical productions. Chapter four draws the curtain of the research beginning with summary, conclusion and recommendation.
