ABSTRACT
The study assessed the Utilization of Adult Education Programs for Manpower Development in Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State. For the purpose of this research, three research questions were raised and answered. The research investigates the effectiveness of existing adult education initiatives in equipping adults with the necessary skills for workforce enhancement within the local community. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, including surveys, interviews, and analysis of existing data, the study aims to identify the strengths and weaknesses of current adult education programs in addressing the needs of adult learners in the area of which the instrument used was the questionnaire. Additionally, the research seeks to provide insights into potential strategies for improving the utilization of adult education for sustainable manpower development in Aniocha South Local Government Area. Findings from the study revealed shows that most of the respondents agreed that adult education programs contribute significantly to workforce; there is a weak correlation between Age or Educational background and the positive impact on Education; there is a weak positive correlation between the posed barriers in adult education and the positive impact to adult education.
