ABSTRACT
This study is aimed to show the importance of the University of Benin having its own dedicated mobile application and how it will impact the transmission of information round the school, in contrast to the use of whatsapp broadcast messages and social media posts which get shared to a limited number of persons, depending who they are following online, but with a dedicated mobile application for news information will be gotten at real time as they happen, passing of circulars and update on events and school calender.
