ABSTRACT
The preparation of Trichoderma as bio-control agent was conducted at the Soil Science and Crop Science Laboratory at Faculty of Agriculture, University of Benin. The experiment was done using Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The use of Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) as a medium for Trichoderma culture is proven to be highly efficient, in this study, Potato Dextrose Agar was used as a medium of growth for Trichoderma spp, the result shows 100% growth ratio, the result from use of un-sterilized saw-dust and beans shows zero growth due to high anti-microbial activities present in saw-dust and the zero growth observed in Beans may result due to high chemical preservatives.
