ABSTRACT
This study examines trauma in Chika Unigwe'e On Black Sister's Street and Felix Ogoanah's The Return of Ameze. It views the traumatic experiences of the trafficked girl child hence emphasizing the need to put an end to sex trafficking and female sexual objectification.
The study mirrors the lives of the protagonists in the texts to reveal the horrendous experiences victims of sex trafficking are subjected to and how they end up being killed by their madams or losing their mind. The experiences is not one they can get behind them as it becomes one that traumatized them for life.
