ABSTRACT
Transport is very key and important in the socio-economic transformation of any region or city. It is the life wire upon which other socio-economic activities of any nation depend. The methodology discussed in this study contributes to the field of transportation network modeling because it establishes how to solve the fare differential along radial route-ways in Benin City. This research summaries fare differentials along the radial route-ways for use in public transit planning. The location of successive intra-city transport terminals in each radial route were identified and measured. The data for each route were also presented in tables and analysed
Anova HSD. Turkey were employed to determine the fare differentials with respect to the modes of transportation as against the mileage or distance along each route to determine if there are variation. The Study revealed that the fare charged by the different modes shows that there's significant variation along some routes like Benin-Lagos which is longer in terms of distance and fare charged is relatively low for Comrade bus for similar distance else were.
