SUMMARY
In the light of the above review one can say that training is very vital for the development of manpower and employee performance in business organization. Public organization are not an exempted as it is believed that a trained worker is an effective and efficient worker.
Therefore, management should see training as its responsibility not because the employees benefit from it but because the organization and the economy as a whole also stand to gain from it training also is to be a continuous process and that investing in it should be regarded as money well invested. It is hope that this study will serve as means of correcting those problems associated with training programmes in order to give the management a new idea in planning the training programme. In addition, this study will be of assistance to any organization with regards to training problems. To the fellow student and scholars, the door is wide open for further study and investigation on the training manpower and the development of employee performance.
