ABSTRACT
The drive towards the use of technology has necessitated the need to explore the effectiveness of the various e-learning platform in carrying out project supervision. This research was carried out to design and implement an online platform for project supervision using Moodle, a popular open-source e-learning platform. A research design methodology was utilized in the research work. In the first phase of the project several literatures were explored in order determine the various features which a relevant to the use of e-learning platform for project supervision. The review of previous research work revealed that collaboration and communication features are necessary for effective project supervision. In the second phase, the e-learning platform, Moodle was explored to discover already existing tools which can be integrated to foster efficient and effective project supervision experience. The result of the research work was an integrated platform which combines the various interfaces for carrying out project supervision.
