ABSTRACT
The study investigated the utilization of teaching resources on Civic Education in Public Secondary Schools in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. The targeted population consisted of 32 Civic Education Teachers drown from 12 Public Secondary Schools in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. Censor sampling procedure was used in selecting the 32 Teachers as a whole for the population of the study.
A Questionnaire was used to collect data from the participant. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as means and Standard Deviation to answer the research questions while independent t-Text and ANOVA were used to test the hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance.
Result from the analysis showed that teaching resources in civic education are utilized by the civic education teachers in public secondary schools in Egor Local Government area. That there is no significant difference between male and female teachers in the utilization of teaching resources in civic education in public secondary schools in Egor Local Government Area based on gender. Based on the findings, it was recommended that teaching resources should be well selected and evaluated by the teachers before use in the classroom.
