ABSTRACT

This study examines the systematic usage of multimedia tools for instructional delivery. It looks at how multimedia technologies have shown to be an effective way to help kids perform better in school and guarantee that everyone has access to high-quality education. To guide the investigation, three research questions were proposed. A careful examination of relevant scientific literature is the first step in the review process. Relevant studies are then chosen based on established requirements for inclusion, the literature is analyzed, and synthesized. It also looked into how multimedia is used in education. The multimedia tools that are currently available include 3-D, animation, audio, and video alongside written content and images. The study discovered that most multimedia instruction and learning aids are created with the pedagogical content of the subject and the users of the solution in mind. The study used a descriptive survey approach; 226 students from two departments made up the population, and 22% of them made up the sample. The questionnaire served as the study tool for gathering data, and descriptive statistics like mean and frequency were utilized to analyze the data. According to the study, using multimedia in the classroom improves student learning because it facilitates lesson planning, lesson delivery, student interest in learning, student study habits, student learning experiences, student retention, and student academic performance. 9 Consequently, it is advised that the Federal Government (FG), State Governments, and all school administrators make measures to guarantee that instructional multimedia is incorporated into the school instructional process.
