ABSTRACT

The world is going through a technological reform and it is proper for us to use technological tool for our day to day activities. The teaching and learning process should involve the use of technological tools or devices because using these would make the teaching and learning process easy, interactive and interesting.

This study investigated the Use of ICT and Internet in Teaching and learning process of English Language in Junior Secondary schools in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State.

A descriptive survey was employed in this study. Four (4) research questions were raised to guide the study. The population of the study comprises of Two hundred and thirteen (213) English Language teachers and One thousand eight hundred and thirty nine (1,839) Junior Secondary school students with a total of Seventy (70) teachers and One hundred and eighty two (182) Students were the entire population used as the sample size
