The result revealed that; most of the teachers makes use of audio visual aid like televisions, computers, slides, educational charts, photographs, pictures, radios and textbooks. It is therefore been observed that the extent of availability of audio-visual aids in the schools of study is high, irregular power supply, poor implementation, high cost of audio visual aids, and teachers in Egor Local government area can effectively make use of projectors, pictures, slides, computers, models, textbooks and educational charts for teaching topics in social studies.

This will enhance the use of Audio-Visual aids in the teaching and learning of social studies, based on the challenges teachers are facing in the use of audio visual aids, regular power supply or an alternative source of power should be provided for the schools, schools administrators should be a motivating force to drive teachers in the usage of teaching aids and most of these audio visual aids should be subsidized by the Government so that schools can afford them and all teachers should be trained on using Audio-Visual Aids to teach due to lack of computer skills. Also Ministry of Education and professional organizations like STAN should organize workshops, seminars and conferences for teachers especially on how to manage Audio-Visual Aids.
