ABSTRACT
Different ethical framework has been developed by philosopher to guild individual andsocieties in making ethical decision. Two of such framework are situation ethics and traditional Christian ethics. This project explores the intriguing tension that exists between Situation Ethics and Traditional Christian Ethics. It aims at providing a philosophical analysis of the tension examining the underlying principles and assumption of both approaches to ethics , exploring how they might reconciled or negotiated in the face of moral dilemmas. I hope to raise the question on the nature of ethical reason and the source of moral authority challenging philosophers to grapple with issues such as relativism, moral absolutism and the role of religion in ethical discourse. Ultimately this project aim to contribute to deeper understanding of the nature of ethical makingdecision and the role that different ethics can play in guiding our choices and decisions.
