The data for this research were collected from recording of conversations, interview native speakers for corpus data and these data would be analysed employing the construction morphology by Booij (2010) theory as its theoretical framework, this is because it is seen as more viable to explore and better explain the formation, derivations, usage and meanings of these selected nominal compound in the Yoruba language. During the analysis, the researcher was able to discover that Nominal compounds in Yoruba language have a traditional word formational processes that leaves most of these compounded nominals head to be located at the head-final order, where the head noun appears at the end of the compound, preceded by one or more modifiers. It concluded the Yoruba nominals are complex as there is no one general rule to its formation and derivations.
