Conclusion

In conclusion, there are differential in rural development Esan North East L.G.A. No region or community would ever achieve it overall objective in rural development without considerable attention to the provision of health facilities, power supply, good quality water and good road.

Inequality has produced an unfavourable environment for economic growth and development. Growth in an area cannot be achieved with reducing inequalities in development between the rural communities. In Esan North East, there are areas which have benefited from the provision of social amenities and are more developed than the other areas that are backward in development and have least benefited from the available social amenities. In terms of power supply generally the entire rural area of Esan North East has one thing in common which is inconsistency in power supply. Inspite of the fact that they all experience inconsistency in power supply, some areas tend to enjoy light more than others. In the area of health facilities it can be agreed that there is no health care facilities in Ewonyi, Eror, and Ivue unlike Uromi where there is both primary and secondary health care facilities. There is a major road that linked Irrua to Uromi and across the communities. Similarly, the sources of water in Esan North East Local Government Area is not encouraging and needs to be given attention, for water is the source of life.

Furthermore, it has been agreed that no region or community would every achieve its overall objective in rural development without considerable focus on water supply. In that vein, it has been argued that water is so essential and it invariably has improved the socio-economic life of the people and stabilize the growth of any community, region, state, etc.
