ABSTRACT
This study delves into the semantic interpretation of J.P. Clark's Song of a Goat, with the primary objective of uncovering the underlying meanings and themes within the text. Employing a comprehensive approach to literary analysis, this research utilizes structural and contextual analysis as its primary methods. This study reveal that Song of a Goat serves as a multi-layered narrative that explores themes of colonialism, cultural identity. Through meticulous examination of the play's language, imagery, and historical context, this study untangles the intricate knot of metaphors and symbolism employed by J.P. Clark to convey these themes. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of J.P.
