ABSTRACT
The promotion of peace in the international system has long been a critical concern for global stability and human welfare. Peace is a fundamental aspiration for humanity, as conflicts and tensions have profound implications for societies and nations. The international system, characterized by complex power dynamics and diverse interests, requires concerted efforts to maintain peace and prevent conflicts from escalating. The involvement of religious leaders, with their moral authority and ability to reach diverse audiences, can significantly contribute to these efforts. This study has highlighted the significant role of Pope Francis in promoting peace within the international system.
