ABSTRACT
The main objectives of this study were to look at the history and nature of ethno-religious conflicts in Southern Kaduna, which indicates that the origin of the conflict is rooted in the history of the political configuration of Kaduna state, from the period of the emirate system to the British colonial era. This study went further to examined the causes of Southern Kaduna conflicts which included Political, economic, religious factors and indigene-settlers dichotomy; as well as discrimination, stereotyping, disparaging preaching and other factors. This study also looked at the impacts of ethno-religious conflicts in Southern Kaduna and the consequences of ethno-religious conflicts on the development of the state.
