ABSTRACT
This study was divided into five chapters to carry out this research. The study raised four (3) objectives that guided the study. Based on these objectives, research questions and hypotheses were formulated, the assumptions and significance of the study were highlighted, and area of study, and scope were also discussed. Chapter two reviewed literature related to the research topic. The review critically examined and analyzed the views of social workers and other concerned scholars on the concepts, types and theories of the main variables. In chapter three the design and methodology of the study were discussed. The research design was a cross-sectional survey design, the population of the study comprised of a total of 301 youths were sampled using simple random sampling procedure. One instrument was used for data collection, the questionnaire. The returned questionnaires were analyzed using simple percentage table for the demographic response collected from the respondents through the questionnaire. Chapter four presented the analysis of the data collected which were analyzed through the use of descriptive and inferential statistics.
