ABSTRACT
The findings of this study provide valuable insights into the methods, current levels, impact, and challenges of information literacy skills among academic librarians. They underscore the importance of formal education, on-going professional development, practical experience, and adaptation to technology in acquiring and maintaining these skills. Moreover, they highlight the positive impact of information literacy on job performance while acknowledging the challenges faced in this domain. By addressing these challenges and investing in skill development, academic libraries can better fulfil their mission of providing effective information services in the digital age
