ABSTRACT
This study examined the role of ICT in English language usage for improved educational outcomes in Senior Secondary Schools taking of Edo State as a case study. This research, conducted in Benin City, Edo State assessed the current state of ICT in Secondary schools in Edo State, the level of teachers’ competence in ICT skills, how access to computers impact English language learning outcomes in Secondary Schools. It also investigated the challenges faced by Secondary Schools in funding and maintaining computers and computer laboratories, and the role of reliable electricity and internet connectivity in the effective operation of ICT tools in English language learning in Secondary Schools.
