ABSTRACT
This study aims to investigate how architectural design and planning decisions have shaped the physical,functional, and aesthetic aspects of the university's campus, and to identify opportunities for improvement and sustainable development. By understanding the role of architecture in shaping the university's landscape, this research seeks to provide valuable insights and recommendations for enhancing the campus environment, promoting academic excellence, and creating an environmentally responsible space that meets the evolving needs of its community and the broader society.The study adopted the administration of structured questionnaires to evaluate the role of architecture in the landscape of the University of Benin. The study concluded that architectural design and planning decisions have shaped the physical, functional, and aesthetic aspects of the university's campus.
