ABSTRACT
This research is designed to determine the role of adult education in the eradication of child labour in Ikpoba Okha local government area. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, five research questions were raised and answered. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of this study will comprise of two thousand, two hundred and fifty-eight (2258) adults in ten communities in Ikpoba-okha local government area of Edo State, while a total of two hundred and twenty five (225) adults in ten communities in Ikpoba-okha local government area of Edo State constituted the sample for the study. Data for the study was collected with the use of the questionnaire and students records. The face and content validity was ascertained in order to determine the validity of the instrument. A test-retest reliability method was used to ascertain the reliability of the research instrument. The researcher made use of frequency count, simple percentage and mean score analyses.
