ABSTRACT
This research aimed to perform an in-depth investigation on the rise and fall of the blacksmithing industry among the Uneme people of Edo State, Nigeria. The previous chapters explored Uneme blacksmithing's historical beginnings and cultural context, its evolution within the Benin Empire's guild structure, spread throughout regional trade networks, and influencing variables during the pre-colonial era. This final chapter tries to integrate major findings, provide additional in-depth analysis on the effects of decline, and make recommendations based on the insights gained.
