Students from low-income backgrounds face a multitude of challenges, including resource limitations within schools and their home environments. Recommendations were made based on the findings and one of the recommendations: A one-size-fits-all approach to education does a disservice to students from diverse backgrounds. Implementing flexible and individualized learning plans can cater to the unique needs and learning styles of students from low-income families. This may involve conducting comprehensive assessments to identify learning gaps and strengths, utilizing differentiated instruction strategies, and incorporating project-based learning activities that cater to various learning styles (kinesthetic, auditory, visual). Technology can also play a role in individualizing instruction. Adaptive learning software can personalize learning pathways based on a student's progress, and online resources can provide additional support and practice opportunities. By tailoring instruction to individual needs, educators can ensure that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
