ABSTRACT

This study was based on the researcher’s opinion to investigate impact of class size on the academic performance of students in Uhumwonde Local Government Area of Edo state. This research work in other to have a wide view, the researcher consulted several literatures that where relevant to this topic. Descriptive research design was used for this study. The population for this study consists of all the students of public junior secondary schools in Uhumwonde Local Government Area of Edo state. The sample size for this study consists of two hundred (200) students selected through random sampling techniques. The research instrument was self-structured questionnaire. For validity, the research instrument was subjected to scrutiny by validated by the project supervisor and two experts in department of educational management, Faculty of Education, University Of Benin, Benin City.
