ABSTRACT
One of the most dreadful forms of maltreatment experienced by women in our society today is domestic violence. Domestic abuse will persist among all social strata without ever coming to an end if the problem is not addressed in an appropriate way. We must get together and enact stricter legislation that will safeguard the abuse victims if we want to eradicate this dreadful kind of abuse, and also enlighten the society, that victims of this abuse, should speak out or report, so that the available laws that regulates this menace would not be limited.
