ABSTRACT
This Paper presents the finding of research conducted to validate the point that fashion may be used as a waste control technique in Nigeria. The researcher used both primary and secondary research methodologies. The research investigates the use of waste products in the production of fashion – related products. The researcher put together seven designs from waste materials which were displayed at a recycled fashion show “fashion beyond limit” exhibited by the 400L Costume major student for their first semester costume Exam in the 2021/2022 session. The results of this experiment indicated the possibilities of turning waste into beautiful outfits. This study concludes that recycling waste into fashionable products will go a long way towards reducing the waste management problem in Nigeria. The researcher advocated for additional measures that promotes a circular economy.
