ABSTRACT
The term, artistic presentation is a creative and expressive display or performance of artistic elements such as visual art, music, dance, theater, or literature. It is a way for artists to convey their ideas, emotions, or messages to an audience. In the Nigerian society, Nollywood movies have served as points of focus to reflections of the society, as producers use characters, settings, language and incidents to point issues and happenings in the society. This study is focused on relating to Nigerian society with Jadesola Osiberu's Gangs of Lagos and Funke Akindele's Battle on Buka Street. The study is limited to how the society is seen through Gangs of Lagos and Battle on Buka Street, how the authors portray what goes on in the society through characters, setting, language and incident. The study uses characters as points of contact to what an individual faces in the society, the plot narrates with happenings in the society such as political strife, conflicts, revolts. Language used in the society is influenced on what area you stay.
