ABSTRACT
The architectural legacy in oredo local government Benin city bears witness to a vibrant past and present, but it is also under threat from the inexorable forces of aging, urbanization, and environmental pressures. The goal of this research was to highlight the architectural assets' cultural, historical, economic, and sociological significance while revealing the urgent need for creative preservation techniques. The study's results and analyses have shed important light on the difficulties these historic places face and the potential answers that creative preservation methods may present.
