ABSTRACT
Abortion is the removal of a non-viable human being by human intervention from the womb by human intervention. It involves the expulsion of the fetus from the womb during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Abortion could be threat to the fetus, that is, it could be infected with serious disease such as rubella, fever sore virus, herpes simples etc. Also, some women involve in abortion simply because they are afraid of child birth or as a means of birth control. Poverty is another reason. Abortion generally accepted is the abortion for rape and incest. In this study, there are different consequence of abortion: the physical consequences (excessive bleeding, shock, coma etc), mental consequences, (sense of guilt from the woman, terrible emotional strain from the woman), moral consequences. Recommendations or solutions were given in this study to the problem of abortion. Recommendations like: Access to Birth, control, comprehensive sexual Education, availability of safe legal abortions.
