SUMMARY

Ironically, the issue Eghosa Imasuen’s Fine Boys writes to satirize is still very much present in our society today. The menace of cultism is still a widespread social vice in Nigerian universities today. Students still belong to these violent confraternities, theystill indulge in their frequent clashes, physical injuries on themselves and non-members and killings of members of rival confraternities and even non-members of confraternities. Many cult groups are still being formed even till date and none uphold the initial pledge for the formation of the first confraternities set up in Nigeria. Thus, as an extensive research on the menace of cultism, this research work has successfully illustrated the menace of cultism in Eghosa Imasuen’s Fine Boys identifying such menace as cult rivalry, physical injuries and brutal killings.
