SUMMARY
We have gone through studying mathematical models for population growth of fishes in a river. Which can be density dependent or density independent.
Density dependent models are usually more objective in studying changing fish population patterns. Also we looked at other things that could affect population of fish like chaos, overcompensation, harvesting etc.
Another important thing we looked at in this study is the maximum sustainable yield. This concept tell us the maximum harvesting rate taking into consideration effort used catachability of the fish at which population will not decline with everything being equal.
We also used graphical representation to illustrate the mathematical implication sustainable yield, chaos, logistic growth etc.
