The study investigated influence of Teachers’ use of electronic media on the academic performance of undergraduate, with special reference to university of Benin undergraduate students. The population was about forty-five thousand students, and the sample was one hundred students making it 0.2% of the total populations. Four research questions were raised to guide the study. The instrument used in generating data for the study was close-ended questionnaire. The questionnaire was validated by the researcher’s supervisor and two other experts in measurement and evaluation. The reliability of the instrument based on Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient Test was 0.65. The data generated for the study was analyzed with the use of descriptive statistics such as tables and percentages.
From the analysis, it was discovered that: Teachers’ exposure to the use of electronic media influences the academic performance of students in tertiary institutions; Teachers’ use of electronic media in teaching influence students’ academic performance positively; Provision of electronic media influence students’ academic performance; Student willingness to use electronic media help to influence their academic performance.
