ABSTRACT
The study is about examining the influence of social media on migration in Nigeria. The researcher employed survey method in gathering data from respondents which was analysed and formed the findings and conclusion.
The study found that a large majority of respondents (89%) come across information about migration on social media platforms. This exposure to migration-related information on social media influences their interest in migrating. In fact, 84% of the respondents reported developing an interest in migrating after seeing information about others who have already travelled abroad on social media.
