ABSTRACT
This study investigates the influence of lifelong learning programmme in the development of Adult Workers in Oredo Local government of Edo State. Four research questions were raised to guide the study A total of one hundred (100). Participant were selected through sampling technique. The major instrument used for this study was questionnaire. The questionnaire was designed and validated by expert in the Department of Adult and Non formal Education, University of Benin, Benin city.
Data was analysed using descriptive statically technique such as tables, mean and standard deviation. Findings of the study revealed that the level of participation of lifelong learning programmme among Adult workers is satisfactory yet it faces various challenges like balancing act between work, family and Education.
It was recommended that the government should devise learning opportunities through various delivery modes including online courses, workshops, mentorship programmmes and on -the -job training should be made available for the Adult workers.
