ABSTRACT
This study assessed the Influence Of Educational Technologies On Academic Performance Of Business Education Students. Four research questions were formulated to guide the study.
The population of the study consist of all 400 level Business Education students in University of Benin Edo State. The sample size selected for this study is one hundred and twenty five (125) 400 Level Business Education students in university of Benin, selected randomly using simple random sampling technique.
Findings from the study revealed that; The study revealed the enhanced level of student engagement due to the use of educational technologies. Study suggest that tools such as online discussion forums, interactive multimedia content, and simulations contribute significantly to keeping students actively involved in their learning process (Anderson, 2019The study could find that students who incorporate online learning resources, simulations, and virtual business tools into their study habits score higher on assessments,The following recommendations are made: There should be increased investment in technological infrastructure in educational institutions to ensure that all students have equal access to the necessary digital tools and resources. This includes providing reliable internet access, modern computers, and software to bridge the digital divide and allow all students to fully engage with online learning platforms. There should be continuous professional development programs for educators to enhance their digital literacy and equip them with the skills to effectively integrate educational technologies into their teaching. Teachers should be trained in utilizing various digital tools and platforms to enhance the learning experience and improve student outcomes.
