ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to find the importance of the box office in the financial success of a theatre organization. The box office unit is the first point of contact between the audience and the management staff, and this unit handles tasks like ticketing, record keeping, and report preparation, all of which are crucial for the theatre to be successful. This study uses surveys to get the opinions of respondents from the selected productions, and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Also, the study uses multivariate analysis to analyze data from respondents. The study finds that if the box office pays closer attention to conflict management, accountability, security assistance, and understanding of roles, it would be more effective and boost the theatre finance. Based on this research, it is recommended that the Uniben Theatre have a physical box office structure and a well-functioning unit. Finally, box offices that aren’t accountable, don’t train their staff, don’t use electronic ticketing, and don’t have security staff should consider doing so to help the theatre make more profit.
