ABSTRACT
The study was carried out to determine “The Impacts Of Artificial Intelligence (AI) In The Academic Performance Of Undergraduate Students: Case Study University Of Benin’’It comprises of 25 males and 25 females student who were used for the study; making a total of 50 students selected from both departments of History Education and History Art in University of Benin, Ovia-North East Local Government area of Edo State.This study was conducted to assess the impact of artificial intelligence on the academic performance of undergraduate students; case study university of Benin.The instrument for data collection for this study was a self-constructed close-ended questionnaire titled “the impact of artificial intelligence on the academic performance of undergraduate students; case study university of Benin.
The following recommendations were made, There should be a comprehensive analysis of AI-driven personalized learning systems to assess their effectiveness in catering to the diverse learning needs of undergraduate students at the University of Benin.There should be an examination of the impact of AI-based plagiarism detection tools on promoting academic integrity among undergraduate students.Assessing whether these tools effectively deter plagiarism and encourage original thinking can provide valuable insights into their role in maintaining academic standards.
