ABSTRACT
This thesis examines the effective leadership of 21st century women through the life of former Secretary of the United State, Hillary Clinton with respect to her background, political career, and how she transformed the way women leadership can be conceptualized and promoted to measurable result. Clinton’s success cut across various international sectors, health, business, and agriculture. As a secretary of the United State, Clinton was able to bring world leaders from the public, private, and non-governmental sectors to brainstorm on strategy and tactics to address the 21st century problems around the world. A new phenomenon of women in politics was born through her radical approach to international issues and her service to humanity. This thesis conveyed how women can change the world socio-economic and political activities for the betterment of mankind, this was expose through Hillary Clinton exemplified leadership, by utilizing her gender to create a forum and impact various actors in the international arena towards promoting better life for humanity. The success of Hillary Clinton stemmed from leadership skill that encompasses understanding, vision, empathy, faith, trust, and nonjudgmental demeanor towards issues of life and politics.
