ABSTRACT

This study was designed to identify the impact of Vocational Education in reducing unemployment in Oredo Local Government in Edo State, Nigeria.

A descriptive statistic technique was used in selection of two hundred (200) selected youth and adult in the communities.

The result revealed that there is an unemployment in the local government area and government is finding measure of eradicating the problem of unemployment.

Based on the results, it was recommended that vocational education is one of the tools that can reduce the problem of unemployment.
