ABSTRACT
This concluding chapter brings together the key ideas explored throughout this study on the Impact of Sports on Nigeria-Ghana Relations, 1960-2022. We will revisit the key findings from each chapter, reviewing the overall impact, and propose recommendations for maximizing the sport economic benefits moving forward.
Chapter One served as an introduction, highlighting the Sport’s significance between Nigeria and Ghana. It established the motivation for this study, emphasizing the growing importance of Sport in Nigeria's economic diversification efforts. The chapter also reviewed existing literature on the economic impact of Sports and identified the research objectives for this project.
Chapter Two dug into the broader context oforigin of sport development in Nigeria and Ghana, such as Evolution of Sport development in Nigeria, Evolution of Sport in Ghana, The Administrative crisis of Sports in Ghana, National sports policy in Nigeria, Conceptual understanding of Sports in Nigeria and Ghana, Sports Policy in Nigeria and Ghana and The structure and Organization of Sports in Nigeria and Ghana.
