Summary
The study investigated the impact of orphanage homes on the personality development of children in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State. The study reviewed variations among respondents. To carry out the study, four research questions were raised and answered. The study reviewed related theoretical literature and it adopted the descriptive survey design. Fifty (50) orphanage workers in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State were used. The research instrument was a questionnaire which was divided into two (2) sections; Section A sought information on the demographic details of the respondents and Section B sought to find out the information on the impact of orphanage homes on the child’s personality development.
