ABSTRACT
This research work seek to examine economic poverty and youth’s frustration during elections in nigeria between 2019-2023. The study made use of questionnaire to obtain data from respondent. Four objectives were raised for the study. The study found that reveals a strong link between economic deprivation and youth frustration with Nigeria's electoral process. Financial marginalisation severely restricts political participation, fostering disillusionment and eroding faith in democracy. Tackling poverty and socioeconomic exclusion are imperative for engaging youth. , the research underscores the vital need to learn from past policy experiences and challenges. Examining historical shortcomings can provide insights to inform pragmatic, evidence-based solutions. An inclusive, long-term approach is required to address systemic issues hampering meaningful youth participation. and thus recommend that Incorporating additional demographic factors such as gender, education, region, and ethnicity to identify variations in experiences of marginalisation.
