ABSTRACT
The incessant strike actions engaged in by workers of the educational body continues to have adverse effect on the Student. This has affected each students academically, socially mentally and otherwise. This study investigated the impact of industrial action and student academic performance in the University of Benin. A descriptive survey was employed in this study. Four (4) research questions were raised to guide the study. The population of the study comprises of four faculties which are Engineering, Education, Pharmacy and Art faculties in the University Of Benin with a total of One hundred Students were the entire population used as the sample size. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The questionnaire was validated by the researcher's supervisor while the test- re test reliability method was adopted to ascertain the reliability of the instrument. Data collected were analyzed using percentage and Frequency count.
